Guided Journeys

Step away.
Listen deeply.

Sometimes the next step isn't another answer. It's creating enough space to hear the answers already within you.

Explore the Journeys

A different kind of retreat

True North offers intimate, land-based journeys where each stay is part retreat, part hands-on transformation.

Guests are invited into a small community experience shaped by nature, reflection, ceremony, and meaningful work on the land.

True North is still becoming. The trails, gathering spaces, foundations, and other pieces of the sanctuary are being created gradually and intentionally.

When you stay here, you're not simply arriving at a finished retreat center. You're entering an evolving place and, depending on the Journey you choose, becoming part of its story.

Choose your Journey

Each campsite reflects a different stage of the journey — from our most developed spaces to the most rugged and restorative.

The Ascent

North Star

Our most developed site and fullest retreat experience

$95 · One night · Oct 10th

North Star offers level ground for up to four tents and is ideal for guests who want to participate in the ongoing work of bringing True North to life.

Depending on what is underway during your stay, that work may include:

  • Preparing the driveway
  • Clearing a 100-foot area for well-drilling access
  • Leveling and shaping the ceremony circle
  • Contributing to the continued development of the land
Up to 4 guests

The Founders

West Wind

A hands-on retreat in a developing sanctuary

$75 · One night · Oct 10th

West Wind is a cleared site with some level ground, suited for 2–3 guests. It offers a more rustic but still grounded experience, with room to continue foundation work and contribute to the shaping of the land.

Your stay may include:

  • Continuing foundation work
  • Preparing and improving the site
  • Working with the land as True North develops
  • Time for reflection and connection in the forest
2–3 guests

The Clearing

Crossing Point, West Haven, East Ridge, East Pine

The most rugged and immersive experience

$25 · One night · Oct 10th

The Clearing is our most elemental offering. These spaces require clearing, wattle fence setup, and leveling before tents can be placed.

This is the most affordable option — and the most immersive “build with us” experience.

  • Clear and prepare your campsite
  • Help shape the space with wattle fencing
  • Level ground for your tent
  • Experience the land in its most unfinished form
1–2 guests per site

The places within the place

Each site at True North has its own character.

The land currently includes six named sites: North Star, Crossing Point, West Wind, West Haven, East Ridge, and East Pine.

As each site develops, it can become a different way of experiencing the sanctuary — from a more established campsite to a quiet place where the forest itself becomes the retreat.

North Star is currently our most developed site. As additional sites are brought to completion, they may become available for independent stays as well.

The path begins before you arrive

A meaningful experience doesn't begin when you arrive on the land. It begins much earlier.

01 · Prepare Begin exploring your intentions, questions, fears, and expectations.
02 · Connect Start with a private conversation about where you are and what you're seeking.
03 · Journey If the experience is appropriate, we'll prepare for an intentional experience on the land.
04 · Integrate The experience doesn't end when you leave. Reflection and integration are part of the path.

Your Journey, Your Way

No prescribed way to experience True North.

Every guest is invited into a guided journey during their time with us. For those who feel ready, this may include a supported ceremony.

But there is no obligation to participate.

The same time can become an opportunity for meditation, journaling, exploration, sitting beneath the trees or contributing to the work of creating this place.

There is no right way to experience True North. The invitation is simply to listen to what you need.

Begin with a conversation

You don't need to know exactly what you're looking for.

A private 30-minute consultation gives us an opportunity to talk about where you are, what you're hoping to explore, answer your questions, and determine whether a True North journey makes sense for you.

Because the land is continually evolving, availability and the work underway may vary from one Journey to the next.

There is no obligation to continue.

Not ready for a conversation?

That's okay. Start by exploring the preparation resources, including reflection exercises and our preparation guide.
